Friday, April 6th, 2012

As many of our hard core TMP Studio fans know, we are dedicated to making inspiring movies and our latest inspirational movie The Lamp is starting to get noticed by audiences around the world. In fact we just shipped the books and DVD to a customer in France! We are so excited to hear and see how this film is helping people to get motivated to look for the positive things in their life that they already have, but may not be noticing.

One positive thing for us at The Lamp and Trost Moving Pictures right now is that we just went over 3,000 “likes” on our Facebook page and to we are noticing. In fact, to celebrate we are giving everyone who uses code FB3000 at our online store a 30% discount on the inspirational songs Just Believe and Heartbeat from the movie. These songs are powerful reminders of the message of the movie and we hope you and your family will enjoy listening to them.

The songs are written by singer/songwriter Kelly Morrison who wrote the signature song for the film The Ultimate Gift and also wrote and sang on the soundtrack for A Christmas Snow. Kelly is a talented musician and we just know you are going to love this inspirational music. So get them now with code FB3000 for only  $0.69 each.

All you have to do is click the Shop Now! link at the top of our site and then scroll through until you see them or you can go to them directly by clicking right here: Just Believe and Heartbeat and make sure to use code FB3000 to save 30%.

Tracy vs Joe on Facebook

Friday, January 6th, 2012

As many of you know, director Tracy J Trost has a facebook page at facebook.com/DirectorTracyJTrost and he curently stands at just under 300 friends who like it. Well, to start the new year and to give everyone a place to ask me questions and communicate about what’s going on at TMP Studios I now have a page too at facebook.com/iAmJoeJestus (yep, I am).

And as I mentioned in the TMP Studios Insider, the real question is, “Who do you like more?” If you like Tracy more, then head on over to his page and “like” it and tell your friends too as well and help him reach 1,000 “likes” first. If you like me more, then head on over to my page and “like” it and tell your friends too as well and help me reach 1,000 “likes” first. (Keep in mind I always cheer for the underdog and with just 7 likes I am currently the major underdog.)

So you are probably wondering how YOU win, right? Well it’s easy, once one of us reaches 1,000 “likes” we will share a link on the winning page that will be active for 48 hours where you can download a PDF of Tracy’s book, Just Believe, which as I’m sure you all know come from our most recent film, The Lamp. So all 1,000 people who “like” me first will get a copy of Tracy’s book. (I mean all 1,000 people on the winning page. He, he…)

So there you have it! You can either “like” Tracy and take him from 300 to 1,000 fans or you can be a part of something monumental and “like” me and take me from 7 to 1,000 fans. The choice is yours and either way you win. (Although I think by liking me, you win a greater sense of accomplishment.)

Thanks for “liking” me no matter what!

P.S. – Yes, I know all of the links except one go to my page and not Tracy’s. I mean, I wrote the post and he has 288 and I’m at 7 – give a guy a break :-) Also, if you think Tracy and I should have a side contest where the loser has to do something let us know on our pages and we’ll pick the best suggestion. Now go “like” my page please. (Manners… never go out of style. – Sam in A Christmas Snow)

New Media Film Festival 2011 Recap

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

The Lamp was up for the Judge’s Award at the New Media Film Festival last week and we’ve got exclusive pics and the results for you here. Director Tracy J Trost and I headed to Phoenix, AZ last weekend to represent The Lamp at the festival. In addition to a screening of The Lamp, Director Tracy J Trost was able to take part in a couple of director’s panels and conduct a workshop on “Following Your Dreams Into Filmmaking”.

Tracy had  a great time interacting with everyone at the festival and inspiring up and coming filmmakers to chase after their dreams and begin taking steps today to make it a reality. Some of the attendees were even able to purchase advance copies of The Lamp and Tracy’s companion book to the film Just Believe. In fact, in Tracy’s workshop he discussed one of the 10 principles of the message covered in his book Just Believe. Tracy talked about the principle of Self Discipline and how they could use it to make their dreams a reality.

If you can’t wait until Sept 20th to get your hands on a copy of Just Believe you can get an advance special edition copy from our online store today: www.ShopTMPics.com add Just Believe to your cart and use code BIRTHDAY for free shipping, it’s in honor of Tracy’s birthday next week!

The Lamp – Just Believe in Music

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

For those of you who haven’t seen our latest inspirational family movie The Lamp, not only are you in for a real treat of a story, but, you’ll also love the two new hit songs from Kelly Morrison that are featured in the film.

The first song, Heartbeat was released on iTunes and Amazon mp3 a month or so ago and it’s been touching peoples lives ever since. This week we’re proud to announce that Just Believe, the second song from the film is on iTunes and Amazon mp3 now. So click the link, get the song, put it on repeat on your favorite player and get ready to Just Believe.

Believe me, you’ll be glad you did and in case you missed it, check out this interview with the singer/songwriter herself Kelly Morrison that my fellow TMPite, TMPian, TMPiard, co-worker Miss Erin Powell conducted.

Oh and be nice neighbor to Kelly and be sure to rate her songs on iTunes and Amazon mp3 when you’re there. Remember that little rule your mother always told you… no not the one about washing your hands. The golden one: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you :-)
