2011 – Just Believe…

Friday, December 30th, 2011

What a year 2011 has been! We are so thankful to all of our friends and fans. If not for your support we couldn’t keep making family friendly inspirational movies, plays and more. Thank You!

The Lamp

The year started off with post production on our third feature film, The Lamp which we shot at the end of 2010 and stars Jason London, Meredith Salenger, L Scott Caldwell, Sarah Brown, Cameron ten Napel with Muse Watson and Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. The Lamp is based on the novel by bestselling author Jim Stovall and we finished the film in the spring of 2011. After that, we held charitable screenings over the summer and fall and raised thousands of dollars for some great causes all around the country including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma.

The Lamp was released on iTunes, VUDU, Amazon Instant Video and others in the fall to great reviews. It then hit many stores nationwide in September and October and the positive reviews kept pouring in. We heard from people all over the country who were inspired by the message of “Just Believe…” and others who had lost a loved one and were touched positively with a hope for the future. We are so grateful to be able to make films that touch people like this in such a positive way and your support is what makes it all possible.

The Lamp finally was released on Netflix streaming in December and over 28,000 people have already rated it with an average of 4 stars, wow! As we go into 2012 we are so excited to be nominated for 3 different awards at the Trail Dance Film Festival in January and we are looking forward to more stores carrying the DVD throughout the year.

A Christmas Snow

It’s amazing to think that two years ago at this time we were in pre-production on A Christmas Snow and now two years later we have sold DVDs all over the world, had it broadcast all over the world and numerous times here in the states. What an amazing experience it has been for us with our second film that has now been blessing people for two Christmas seasons. Just as we have heard wonderful things about people being impacted by The Lamp the message of forgiveness in A Christmas Snow has had a similar effect on people as well. We are always so excited to hear about people who have let go of years of bitterness and reconciled with family and friends after seeing the film. That is success to us! Thank you for making that possible.

A Christmas Snow Live!

While just two years ago we were getting ready to film A Christmas Snow, it was just one year ago that we were thinking about turning the story into a live stage play with the same stars from the film and we did it! A Christmas Snow Live! was an incredible experience as the actors and writer/director Tracy J Trost brought the story to life on stage in a powerful new way. Thousands of people were touched by this heartwarming play and called it “life changing” and “a must see show for the entire family”. I know as I stood in the atrium after a performance I was moved to hear the audience talking about how the play touched them and seeing grown men brought to tears by this story is something I will never forget. Once again this is only possible through the tireless support of our friends and fans, thank you!

The Lamp – How can YOU see it?

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

Last week we told you about the VOD launch and you’ve heard of Light of The Lamp… wait, what? You haven’t?!?!

Well what’s going on here? Hopefully you did hear about The Lamp VOD launch last week on services like iTunes, Amazon Instant, and many satellite and cable providers as well. You can now rent and in some cases buy a digital copy of our new inspirational family film The Lamp on these services. If you would be so kind, we will spend 15 minutes thinking happy thoughts about you if you head over to those services and rate and review the film as well. Especially iTunes and Amazon.

Now let’s  get to curing this absence of know-how about the Light of The Lamp Charity Screening program that seems to be affecting too many of our INsiders. If you click this link: you can learn all about our charity screening program that over 160 people have signed up to be a part of. In fact we have had or have scheduled almost 40 events so far. If you have a favorite charity you want to support with this program you need to sign up to become an event host. Or perhaps you just like to watch and maybe you want to help support a great charity that way… well now you can! Just click on Find a Screening and look for one in your area. It is and will always be the best deal to get The Lamp DVD, The Lamp novel, and Just Believe companion book all while supporting a great cause. With $25 going to the charity that means you are getting two tickets to the event and all three products for the other $25 – that’s more than 50% off and yes we are crazy – crazy about helping out great causes and making a difference!

So there we go, now you know about The Lamp VOD and the Light of The Lamp Charity Screening Program all in one article! This is the superhero of articles. In fact, I think I just might tag it that way, carry on citizens, carry on.
