Trost took time before the meeting to talk with KJRH about the importance of supporting the film and music industry in Tulsa and why filmmaking in Oklahoma and Tulsa specifically is important.

Trost Moving Pictures President & Founder Tracy J Trost Selected To Represent Film Industry On Tulsa Mayor’s Film and Music Advisory Board

Tulsa, OK ~ Seeing the growth that Trost Moving Pictures has experienced over the last 4 years, and sensing the need for an advisory board, director Tracy J Trost is a logical addition to Tulsa’s first ever Mayor’s Film and Music Advisory Board. Trost’s visionary leadership, strategic insight, and passion for making movies has led to a nationally-recognized and award-winning reputation as an independent filmmaker. Trost remains committed to his mission to make movies in Tulsa and promote independent storytelling to inspire audiences around the world.

Tulsa’s Film and Music Advisory Board is a team of highly qualified industry leaders comprised of government officials, writers, directors and musicians that include bestselling author and President of the Narrative TV Network, Jim Stovall, Production Manager for Steelehouse Productions Jim Wacker, and Tulsa Councilman Blake Ewing.

Trost and his Tulsa based independent film studio, Trost Moving Pictures have shot three feature films in Tulsa already and are working on shooting their fourth film there this summer, Letting Go.
