ACS Live! Week 2 Prep

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

Yes, it’s true. Our TMP Studios team has been in Branson at the Starlite Theatre for the last 2 weeks preparing for ACS Live! They have been hard at work going over lines, lighting, choreography, and stage transitions to make sure everything goes as planned.

Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Practice makes perfect and that is exactly what our team has been doing. Muse Watson, Catherine Mary Stewart, and Cameron ten Napel have been going over and over their lines. The backstage crew, Stage Manager Jason Stafford, and Director Tracy J. Trost have been putting all the finishing touches on this inspirational family play. At the end of this weekend they will  come back to Tulsa for a little bit to get ready for the big move. They will be moving their family and their life momentarily. They will call Branson Mosourri home for the next 2 months. It is going to be a project of a life time. Please don’t miss out on seeing this play. Click here to get your tickets today! You won’t regret it.

Be The First…

Thursday, September 22nd, 2011

That’s right the TMP Branson Crew has caravanned their way up to the Starlite Theatre to begin the complete set-up of A Christmas Snow Live. It is a dream that has been long awaited. The lights are getting set, the stage is being decorated, the speakers are being tweaked, the vision is coming to pass.

There is a crew of about 8 people that are putting in many hours to make sure the show is in tip -top shape for opening night. They will be there for another week and a half prepping before the big move. We are so thankful for such a talented team. Keep checking in for highlights of the Branson Crew in INsiders to come.

David Campbell – Set Production Supervisor

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

Nail by nail, staple by staple, things are beginning to come together quite nicely. I spoke with our Set Production Supervisor today and I have some updates on how things are coming along.

Dave Campbell, our Set Production Supervisor, has a lot on his plate. He is busy making sure that the set pieces are built just right. There are so many specifications that must be met in order to make the logistics run correctly. He is estimating that when things are all said and done there will be over 20 different set pieces. Some will have to be flown in and out with a make-shift fly rig. He says the thing he is looking forward to the most is the challenge of storage. During scenes where there are only 2 or 3 set pieces on stage, all the rest of the 17 – 20 pieces are in the wings. The crew and actors will have have a fun time dancing around each other. He says the circus will be in full swing, but it will be a fun challenge.

Dave has had the privilege of working with Tracy and Jason to come up with, what to keep from the movie and what isn’t needed. There are a few surprises that he is very excited about, but doesn’t want to spoil the experience. So with 2 more weeks of building in Tulsa, they are hard at work. Dave and his team will head to Branson for the final fittings and melding of the minds to make ACS Live a reality!

The Lamp – Just Believe in Music

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

For those of you who haven’t seen our latest inspirational family movie The Lamp, not only are you in for a real treat of a story, but, you’ll also love the two new hit songs from Kelly Morrison that are featured in the film.

The first song, Heartbeat was released on iTunes and Amazon mp3 a month or so ago and it’s been touching peoples lives ever since. This week we’re proud to announce that Just Believe, the second song from the film is on iTunes and Amazon mp3 now. So click the link, get the song, put it on repeat on your favorite player and get ready to Just Believe.

Believe me, you’ll be glad you did and in case you missed it, check out this interview with the singer/songwriter herself Kelly Morrison that my fellow TMPite, TMPian, TMPiard, co-worker Miss Erin Powell conducted.

Oh and be nice neighbor to Kelly and be sure to rate her songs on iTunes and Amazon mp3 when you’re there. Remember that little rule your mother always told you… no not the one about washing your hands. The golden one: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you :-)

ACS Live! Let the Building Begin

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

Hey Insiders! It’s been a while, it feels great to be back.  I was talking with our Producer, Jason Stafford about the timing of the set building for ACS Live!. Turns out, they moved into a space this week and are working on the beginning stages of the set. With all this construction, it’s hard to keep everything straight. The scenes are sketched out, it’s just time to make those drawings a reality. We have very talented guys working hard to make sure all the details are paid attention to, and all of the scenes look just right.
So many things going on at TMP, we’re bursting at the seams! But that’s ok with us! It gives us more opportunities to reach people and get our movies and projects out there. Be prepared for so much more news in the future. Want to see an exclusive pic of the building process? Click here to sign up for our INsider and view the August 4th Edition.
