Crisis Pregnancy Outreach Movie Inspired by True Story

Crisis Pregnancy Outreach Project and Faith Like a Child Movie ProjectAward-Winning Director Tracy J Trost Inspired By True Story Partners With Crisis Pregnancy Outreach For Groundbreaking Film

Tulsa, OK ~ A unique partnership between Trost Moving Pictures and Crisis Pregnancy Outreach (CPO) of Tulsa has been established in an effort to raise awareness, donations, and increase their presence within the community. After meeting with CPO Director Cheryl Bauman, Trost Moving Pictures’ Founder and President Tracy J Trost will take a very public stance to rally for the nonprofit organization by writing and directing a movie based on the real life CPO story of Maryann Lamer.

Trost has written Faith Like A Child, a powerful story of how two women find courage in crisis and come together in a very dramatic way through the prayers of a little girl. Trost believes when a well-written script is brought to life in the best cinematic way, the film not only inspires but can teach viewers valuable life lessons. Faith Like A Child has a very strong pro-life message, but will arouse interest in people to weigh options through moral and ethical choices for those who have faced an unwanted pregnancy.

The project is currently raising funds for the film through a mixture of foundations, corporate sponsorship, and individual support with plans to be fully funded by the end of the year and shooting slated for Spring 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Businesses or individuals interested in getting involved can visit www.CPOProject.com for more information and to donate.

Faith Like A Child solidifies Trost’s spot at the forefront of filmmaking by using a film to raise awareness and funds for Crisis Pregnancy Outreach. Every time someone sees the film they will learn about CPO and their life-changing mission and just as important every time the film is purchased or licensed CPO will be earning much needed funds to continue their work.

Faith Like A Child is more than just another film project to all of us at Trost Moving Pictures. It’s an extension of our belief that great stories are still the best way to make an impact on the world and anyone that gets involved in this project will be making a difference in the life of babies, birth mothers, and adoptive families forever,” says Trost.

About Crisis Pregnancy Outreach: The primary mission of Crisis Pregnancy Outreach, which started as an outreach ministry of Christian Chapel Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma is to provide love

and assistance, free of charge, to young women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy, and to their children as well.

Crisis Pregnancy Outreach’s comprehensive list of services developed as new seeds arose amidst the young women it ministered to. When a girl needed a place to live during her pregnancy, “host homes” began as the members of Christian Chapel opened their homes to provide a loving, family environment. When a girl needed items for setting up an apartment, the warehouse was formed.

Initially, adoption referrals were made when young women chose to place their children for adoption. It soon became evident that Crisis Pregnancy Outreach should become a Licensed Adoption Agency in order to facilitate open adoptions.

Crisis Pregnancy Outreach accomplishes everything with a team of dedicated volunteers. No one has ever received a salary.
