So what top secret film are we working on over here at the Trost Moving Pictures offices? Well if you had been watching our live webcam from our last broadcast event in New York you would have heard Tracy J Trost spill the beans ; )

But for those of you who missed it, I’m gonna spill them.. again… officially – in fact just a few days ago Tracy finished the first rough draft of the film that we’ll be shooting in October of this year, right here in Tulsa, OK.

Drum roll please…. The Lamp. It’s a story based on a book written by Best-Selling Author Jim Stovall. But as with all movie types, Tracy has changed it up a bit and has reworked some of the story lines. We’re in the process of refining it right now and as soon as we have more news for you, we’ll be sure to share it. We look forward to telling another entertaining and inspiring story to you and creating more family films for you to watch.

Oh, one last thing. Here is a little teaser as to what it’s about:

“Suffering from the loss of his only child, Stanley Allen has secluded himself to a dark and lonely place. Sullen and without hope, he continues to hide from and neglect those he loves, despite their attempts to pull him out.

In what seems to be the final days of their already strained marriage, his wife, Lisa is presented with a strange gift; an old oil lamp from a far off land. Along with the lamp comes a mysterious messenger – Charles, who informs them that they have three wishes; but with one major catch.

If you could have anything you want, what would you ask for?

The Lamp is a story of discovering what is truly important in life and how you can get it.”
